JHSF/ José Auriemo Neto

JHSF is the leading high-end real-estate company in Brazil. It participates significantly in commercial and residential incorporation, administration and development of international business airports, high-end hotels, and shopping centers. The company was founded in 1972, with the goal of identifying new opportunities where it operates. The best characteristics of this company are its quality, daring and innovative nature and the ability to offer sustainable solutions in projects. It has grown to establish its presence in Miami, Punta del Este, New York, Salvador, Sao Paulo and Manaus. JHSF has four units: Restaurant and Fasano Hotel, Airport, Incorporation, and shopping center.

Jose Auriemo Neto is the CEO and chairman of JHSF. His main functions are overseeing the interest of the brand in public development, office building, and hotel development. He is in charge of administering the retail and extensive shopping portfolio. These include the Bela Vista in Salvador, Cidade Jardim complex in Sao Paulo, and Ponta Negra in Manaus. In 2009 he oversaw the first venture into opening luxury brands, retail and signing partnership agreements. The group launched Valentino and Red Valentino stores in 2012 in partnership with the Valentino group.

Jose is an alumnus of the Fundacao Armando Alvares Penteado University. After graduating from University with a degree, he started working for JHSf in 1993. Jose worked hard and found the service department in 1997. He then created the Parkbem which is a service department. After the service department was successful in 1998, he developed shopping Santa Cruz.

Today, JHSF is navigating through a rampant consumer and extravagant high-end market in Brazil. It has made this area an important part of the national economy. The sector is estimated to have moved $4 billion for last year alone. The company spent 2.8 million reais to launch Parque Cidade Jardim. In the 1990s JHSF got itself in a family disagreement. Fabio Auriemo and his brother Jose Roberto fought to split the parent company into JHSJ and JHSF. Auriemo is however focussed on developing JSF to meet the market demands. More than ever, it has focussed on expanding its services to the rest of the world.
